Bad Day ...

En février 2005 sort son premier album "Daniel Powter" avec le tube "Bad Day" qui cartonne et lance l'album sur les premières marches des charts.

Un chemin pas comme les autres ...
Sa mère a su lui donner le goût de la musique. En effet, celle-ci est pianiste et Daniel se lance dans la musique en apprenant d'abord le violon.
Instrument beaucoup moins classique et conventionnel qui lui vaut d'être la risée de ses petits camarades à l'adolescence, garçons qui eux étaient inscrits au hockey sur glace et non à une école de chant !
